Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.

Who we are

SeenFirst is a trading name of TEGRAL Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17506498). Our registered office is G1 Hartsbourne House, Delta Gain, Watford, United Kingdom, WD19 5EF.

TEGRAL Limited is the controller of your personal information. For anything about your data, email [email protected].

What we collect

  • Details you send us. When you request a free website review, we collect what you enter: your name, business name, email address, country and what you need, plus your phone number and current website if you choose to give them.
  • Emails and messages. If you email us, we keep the message and your contact details so we can reply.
  • Technical information. Like every website, our hosting provider receives basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive information such as health or financial details.

How and why we use it

  • To reply to you and carry out your free review. This is in our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and is a step you have asked us to take before any contract.
  • To prepare a proposal or homepage concept, if you ask us to, and to deliver our services if you become a client. This is necessary for our contract with you.
  • To keep records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices and accounting records.
  • To keep this website secure and working. This is in our legitimate interest.

We do not sell your information. We do not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask us to, and you can stop it at any time.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers who process information on our behalf and only on our instructions:

  • Cloudflare, which hosts this website and protects it from attacks.
  • Web3Forms, which delivers the details you enter in our enquiry form to our inbox.
  • Microsoft, which provides our email.

We may also share information where the law requires it, or with professional advisers such as our accountants.

International transfers

Some of these providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement and Addendum.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

  • We remember your chosen currency in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
  • Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell real visitors apart from automated attacks. It is not used to track you.
  • We do not currently use website analytics. If we add it, we will use a privacy-friendly tool without cookies and update this policy.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 24 months, so we have the context if you get in touch again. Ask us and we will delete them sooner.
  • Client records: for the length of our work together, then 6 years after it ends, as required for tax and legal purposes.
  • Technical information: kept by our hosting provider for a short period for security, typically no more than a few weeks.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your information;
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • send your information to you or another organisation in a portable format.

Email [email protected]. We will reply within one month. There is no charge.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk. If you are in Australia, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Children

Our services are for businesses. This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
