Terms
These terms explain how we work with you. We have kept them short and in plain English. If you have a question about any of them, ask us before you go ahead.
1. Who we are
SeenFirst is a trading name of TEGRAL Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17506498), with its registered office at G1 Hartsbourne House, Delta Gain, Watford, United Kingdom, WD19 5EF. In these terms, "we" and "us" means TEGRAL Limited, and "you" means the business we are working with.
2. How these terms apply
- We work with businesses, not consumers. By going ahead, you confirm you are acting for your business.
- Every project is confirmed in a written proposal setting out the scope, price and timeline. If the proposal and these terms differ, the proposal wins.
- Our agreement starts when you accept the proposal in writing and we receive your first payment.
3. Free review and homepage concept
The free website review is free and comes with no obligation. Free homepage concepts are offered to qualified businesses, at our discretion, after the review. If you do not go ahead, the concept stays ours and may not be used without our agreement.
4. Quotes and prices
- Prices on this website are starting prices and exclude local taxes, which are added where they apply.
- After your free review we give you a fixed price for the agreed scope. A quote is valid for 30 days.
- If you ask for work outside the agreed scope, we will quote for it and only go ahead once you agree.
5. Payments
- Payments are split in two: 50% before work starts and 50% at launch.
- If launch is held up for more than 30 days for reasons on your side, the second payment becomes due once the website is ready to launch.
- Invoices are due within 14 days. If a payment is late, we may pause work until it is paid, and we may charge interest as allowed by law.
- Care plans are billed monthly in advance.
6. What we need from you
- Content, feedback and approvals in good time. Timelines depend on them.
- Accurate information about your business.
- Permission to use anything you give us, such as logos, photos and text. You are responsible for having the rights to it.
- Access to accounts we need, such as your domain or map listing, where relevant.
7. Design revisions
Two rounds of design revisions are included. Further rounds are charged at our hourly rate, which we agree with you before any extra work starts.
8. Timing
Launch websites usually go live in 3 to 4 weeks and Growth websites in 5 to 6 weeks. Signature projects are scheduled individually. These are estimates, not guarantees. If a project is paused on your side for more than 60 days, we may invoice for the work done so far and close the project, and we will happily restart it later.
9. Ownership
- Once your website is paid in full, it belongs to you: the design, the pages and the words we write for you.
- Your domain name is registered in your business's name and belongs to you.
- Some parts, such as fonts, stock photography and software libraries, are licensed from others under their own terms. We will tell you about any that need a paid licence.
- We keep the right to reuse our general methods, tools and know-how, but never your content or your custom design.
- We may show your website in our portfolio. If you would rather we did not, just tell us.
10. Hosting and Care
- Hosting is included free for the first 3 months after launch.
- After that, Care is optional. You can choose a Care plan, or we hand your website over so you can host it anywhere you like.
- You can end a Care plan at any time with 30 days' notice. We will give you 30 days' notice of any price change.
- When you leave Care, we hand over your website files and help you move it. Nothing is held back.
11. Search and AI results
We build every website so search engines and AI assistants can find, understand and recommend it. However, Google and AI assistants decide their own results, and these can change at any time. So we cannot guarantee a particular ranking, position or recommendation.
12. If either of us wants to stop
- Either of us can end a project by telling the other in writing.
- If you end it, you pay for the work done up to that point. If that is less than you have already paid, we refund the difference.
- If we end it for a reason other than late payment or a serious breach of these terms, we refund any payment for work we have not done.
- Once you have paid for the work done, everything completed up to that point is yours.
13. Our responsibility
- We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill.
- Our total liability for a project is limited to the amount you have paid us for it.
- We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as loss of profit, business or data, or for problems caused by services we do not control, such as third-party platforms or your own changes to the website.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Confidentiality and data
We keep your business information confidential and only use it to deliver our work for you. How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy policy. Where your website collects information from your own customers, such as enquiry forms, you are responsible for that information, and we handle it only on your instructions.
15. General
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can decide any dispute. This does not remove any rights you have under the law of your own country that cannot be excluded.
- Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- We may update these terms from time to time. The version in place when you accept a proposal applies to that project.
